Hunter John Hunter, recently retired from QVC holding the position of Executive Vice President of Customer Fulfillment Services. In this position, Hunter was answerable for overseeing over 12,000 associates in customer service, distribution, business analysis and engineering, and quality assurance groups, and the companyâs three U.S-primarily based name facilities and its four US distribution centers. He also led the constructing of fulfillment and customer service operations in each of QVCâs world operations in Europe and Asia. Hunter joined QVC in 1991 as Vice President of Customer Services and has held varied roles of increasing accountability with the company, together with Senior Vice President of Distribution and Senior Vice President of Customer Services. Among his many successes with the corporate, Hunter played an architectural role in growing QVCâs world-class customer service organization. Under his management, QVC received high placements in the most respected retail trade rankings for customer support. QVC lately achieved second place in ForeSeeâs ranking of outlets who provide the highest buyer satisfaction. In January 2013, QVC was acknowledged as a Top 10 retailer for customer support by the National Retail Federation (NRF) for the fourth consecutive 12 months. He spearheaded the transformation of QVCâs distribution network to support the rapid progress of the corporateâs e-commerce platforms, and helped lead the charge for brand spanking new technologies across tv, phone, online, mobile and tablet contact factors to reinforce the consumer expertise. Hunterâs previous skilled background features a nine-12 months profession with Citibank, serving as Senior Vice President in its Credit Card Division. Prior to Citibank, he spent eight years with Avis Rent a Car in gross sales and advertising. Hunter served on the board of directors for GSI Commerce, Inc. He is also the advisory board chairman for the Leadership Development Program at the Joh ns Hopkins University Carey Business School, and participates in talking engagements with other universities and companies.
